Landon had his first haircut yesterday. I was anxious about it because he does not take to strangers well. I wasn't sure if we'd leave the salon with his hair cut or with him in tears. But he did a fantastic job. He didn't want to sit in the chair, even with me holding him; he only wanted his daddy. So Mike held him, standing up, and Elizabeth stood on a stool and gave him his haircut. A few Matchbox cars kept him smiling. I stood by with camcorder and camera going like crazy.
By the time we left, he'd made friends with everyone in the salon and enjoyed waving bye-bye and showing off his new look.
I took these pictures once we were back home. It was just after lunch and he was in such a great mood. I think he might have been smiling because he knew daddy had some mini chocolate donuts. He looks like a big boy now...not at all like my little baby. It's funny how something as simple as a haircut makes him look completely different. He's growing up so fast.
