My niece and I are having a little getaway next week. We're heading to Lewisburg for a few days to see a musical performance of The Greenbrier Ghost at the Greenbrier Valley Theater. We are so excited. We both love local history and all things ghostly. And the Greenbrier Ghost legend is that it's the only murder trial in history with a ghost as a witness.
We'll be staying at the Historic General Lewis Inn. It's a beautiful inn filled with history and antique furnishings. And it's only a short walk to the theater. That's one great thing about downtown Lewisburg - once you park, you can walk most places. I love that! We're going to have a great time shopping, eating and catching the show. I'll post some pictures and tell you all about it.
