The Taste of Home Cooking School is coming to Charleston on September 17th. I've been invited to attend, along with a guest. My sister and I are really looking forward to it. We are long-time subscribers of the Taste of Home magazine, thanks to my mom.
I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, so I spoke to Mitch Cooper, the marketing specialist for the event. It's basically a 2-hour program, presented by the Taste of Home Culinary Specialist. During the show, you are walked through 10 recipes, from easy to complex. You will learn many kitchen tips and tricks to help the everyday cook. AND you receive many gift bag items that have been donated by our national sponsors, in addition to door prizes. There is also a chance to win Taste of Home cookbooks. How great does this sound?
