I wanted to do a fun cooking project with Landon yesterday so we made chocolate cupcakes. I used Martha Stewart's recipe, which I've used before and always turns out great cupcakes. After the cupcakes cooled, I took the easy way out and used Duncan Hines milk chocolate frosting. I just spooned it on and swirled it around like my mom used to. I usually use a pastry bag for big swirls of icing, but loved the look and simplicity of doing it just like mom used to.
I love making cupcakes. Next I think I'm going to try this recipe. Lemon and raspberry...yum!
