Jess over at Pen 'n Paper Flowers says "Think about the "verb" you think would symbolize your goals for the upcoming year."

Wow...one word to encompass everything I want to be and accomplish in 2013. I thought and thought about this, rejecting several choices. Then I decided on S~H~I~N~E. Why shine? Because I want to do my best to shine in everything I think, say and do in the coming  year.  I want to shine for God and watch Him take delight in me. I want to shine as a parent, not because I make the best cake-pops or cute crafts on Pinterest, but because I simply  do the best I can every day to raise a happy child who loves God.  I want to shine as a wife because it means I put my husband and family first. I want to shine as a daughter, sister and friend because it means the people I love most know how much they mean to me. I want to shine with grace and compassion and show others how they too can shine.

And God wants us all to shine. He takes great delight when we, His children, are happy. He sings for us...

He will take great delight in you … He will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

So why not  S~H~I~N~E?!
