So Much To Do...and a giveaway

Are you ever so busy that you just have to stop and take a breath? That's how I'm feeling right now. I have so many things going on. My sister is getting married on September 4th. I'm her maid of honor, I'm singing two songs and making the wedding cake. I get anxious just thinking about the big event. And her bridal shower is next Saturday. Wait until you see the adorable cupcake toppers I'm making for the shower.

And as if that isn't enough, my mom and husband both have August birthdays (mom's 60th!). Plus our little Landon is turning one! So you know I have to pull of an amazing party for this HUGE event. I've been planning and planning, and things are really starting to come together. I can't wait to share his party with you.

And I also have this spectacular cookbook to give away... 101 Autumn Recipes from Gooseberry Patch. Just in time to get you ready for fall. To enter, simply become a follower of this blog & leave a comment on this post. Deadline to enter is August 6th (winner announced August 8th). For a 2nd chance to win, check out The Hillbilly Chicks on Facebook. Good luck!

  6. Just found your blog through FoodieBlog roll. Very cute, I have an obsession for anything smothered in cream cheese icing, so I can't wait to try your red velvet cupcakes.

I too was in my best friends wedding and making her wedding cake (destination too)! Hectic, hectic, but well worth all the work. Best of luck! Let me know if you need pointers on getting your hair done, dressed, and the cake decorated in time for the ceremony.
